I quit DQ today :/

Ever since I have been working there 3.5 months, I have been having real bad back problems and knee problems. I have never asked for a day off since I worked there, and always came in when they asked me too.

Well I just started school back, and working 7 hours after school and getting at 12 midnight and having to wake up at 5:30am to get ready for school is not working, but I have been doing it anyhow. I asked for tonight off because my back was hurting so bad, and I have to lift heavy stuff at work, and my manager was like "You have to come in because you are the only person who will" So I was pretty pissed off because I never asked for a day off, so i told my manager she could do all the fucking work herself cuz I quit. Then she hung up on me.

That's nucking futs!

You should have gone in, faked a somewhat massive injury, and the threatened to sue because you told her ahead of time.

Jesus christ, you quit a job because your back hurt. Kids these days! Try working a day where your lifting 30-120 pounds 10 hours a day for 60 hours a week, then tell me about back pain. Your young and should be able to do it. I would have hung up on you to. I would have called you a ***** before hand though.

I would have went in, but i only had to work 3 hours tonight, and I live 15 miles from it, so it wasn't really worth my time to go out there. Plus my back is hurting so bad I don't even feel like moving.
