I put in a battery with side posts and top - need a good terminal for top and 4 gage

Go to advance auto parts and get the terminals with the wing nuts.
All you will need is ring terminals to connect your wires

I will look into these , somehow my bass does not sound the same with the terminals I purchased , it seems weaker, not as deep . I think they are a poor conductor.

coated ones are not a good idea
you're so right My sound and bass was affected with these coated terminals, it just took me a bit to notice so i got rid of them and replaced them with gold coated with 4 gauge terminals. I just redid my whole power system too, I used the optima as a secondary battery and STARTED the big 3 by replacing the power lines with 4 gage, it was like a 10 gage or something and I see that the ground going to the engine block is 4 Gage so left that alone but the one going to the chassis is like 10 gage so will be replacing that one tomorrow. My volts are at at 15 and don't move at all. The reason I changed it all out is because after running the optima for a day it still dipped down to about 11.5 volts when the bass hit hard so I went all out, feels so good to see everything so stable cant wait to see what happens when I replace that ground. I also see that my gain dial on my woofer amp had to go down. I think it may because I'm getting more juice now. I will tune with more precision tomorrow too.
