I messed up in my planning

Let's get this out of the way. I'm a idiot. Poor planning on my part and I need help.

I put a false floor in so I could keep the amps out of sight and to save space. What I didn't account for was the hood that hangs over my hatch area. I am planning a sealed enclosure for one Alpine Type R 12". The only way I can see to make this right is to extend the depth and have a angled front.

I've tried using the online calculators and I am guaranteed to mess this up, so I'm here pleading for someone to give me some dimensions. I have no problem building the box, just don't know how to set it up proper for air volume. 1 cubic foot seems to be pretty popular for this

sub sealed.

He are the sub specs - I have the SWR-12D4

And this is my hatch space I have to work with, remember the canopy will be down. I only have 12" in height to work with. 24" depth and 36" width. I'd rather it be wider than deeper, but I can't be too choosy.

Appreciate any help I can get.

With those dimensions you have over 4 cuft gross. Why sealed?
I meant those are the specs I have to work with, I didn't want to use all that space, LOL.

They do? Lol. Op, go with a wedge 18w12h(1) 4h (2) 16d. .90 gross. But I'd go ported.
Thanks alot. I'd love to have a trunk full of speakers, but this is my daily driver and I have to haul my RC stuff to so I need a little room, ported would destroy that. Besides, I'm not a real boomy kinda guy.

All good. Pm me if you need any further help....

First want to give a big thanks out to CCstang for helping me with the box. Here's the tech specs here he provided me...

24 wide 20 deep 11.5 back height 6 front height

Gives you 1.75 cuft gross and 1.47 net

Slot port won't work, but 2 3" aeros will at 18" length each.

That gives you 9.62 sqin of port and 14.14 per cube.

I have no idea what this means, but I've seen his work and I'll take his word for it. Ports are on order, should have next week. You can see by the pictures of the height restriction problems I have, so we worked with what we have. Will get box carpet next week and you will see nothing when the hatch is closed. Ended up giving up my space, but if I needed I can just fold the seats down and push the box forward or take it out altogether.
