sure i like my music just like the next guy. if im not in a full residential area... ill turn it up a little bit. but if im driving through a big residential area or stopped at a stop sign/red light, its going to be turned down almost all the way.

i make a special note NOT to play my music loud in residential areas...now...when im cruising around town..thats a diff story...but i dont go around at 12 or 1 playing killa whale at 140..besides..my car would die from dimmage killing my battery...if that can happen...
killed my alternator already from that. I do not play my music at any type of loud level when darkness falls (except winter... then its 7:30 give or take) or in any type of residential area. sure when i got into car audio i really loved it and still do even more so, but i just couldnt hold back the urge for playing my music at high levels. Since then ive gotten into competing and it helps me release some of that loud music i want to play and do it amung other car audio nuts. learned a lot of things on here thanks to a lot of you and now i break 142 on linear x at 38hz. not bad for me going in with a stereo based on quality first, then loudness 2nd.

Ah yes, Telarc's recording of the 1812 overture. That track has destroyed many-a-sub woofer. I really wouldn't hesitate to rank that song #1 on the list of sub-killers.

I just thought I would bring this thread back up to the top since I listened to Josh's Camaro (the silver one on my web page). It sounds so frickin good it should be illegal. After hearing his system, I can't wait to get mine finally finished.
