Kanye bridges great hiphop with the commercial bullshit, for that I like him alot. He's a pretty terrible rapper IMO, but has alot of strong things to say, and is one of the more talented producers out there. I don't really like the song mentioned though, one of the lower points of the new album.

Personally I dont like him as a artist. I just think he is another average rapper with a little better meassege. I think he is a better producer as well.

But on that note, I really havent heard his new song, so cant judge that yet. I will have to check it out.

i thnk some of his older stuff is much better, i think some of the money and fame went to his head, especially with gold digger, i cant get myself to even listen to that song, thats how much i hate it, but anyone who is associated with rawkus records is simply outstanding in my books, plus he produced i believe the whole record for talib kweli 'quality' which is an off the hook album on its own, plus he features in a track or two which is amazing

overall, i have much more respect for him now knowing that he is associated with rawkus and this his older stuff is amazing, its just golddigger which is bringin me down
