I got so much SDS CLD tiles in my car that I got shot at and didn't even hear it, yo.

I was the one shooting.

the SDS reflected the sound waves, which redirected the pathing of the bullet. Because sound waves travel faster than bullets. So Idk if its actually bullet proof, because the bullet never hit the car.

First time I've heard this one.

If you want bullet proof, get some 1" thick armor grade lexan/polycarbonate and go that route. Not sound deadener.

I'll give it a try tomorow if i get off work in time... I still have like 50ft^2 of FatMat and soem .40 ammo for the PT24/7

ya know..... honestly dynamat,ss,raamat,,all that is just over priced IMO. i use roofing sealant. comes in rolls. exact same stuff. exact same outcome if not better. 16 bucks for one roll. around 25 sq ft a roll.. try that first. u need a heat gun but the shit is hella great and DOESNT COME OFF

LOL! No, deadening won't do shit to even a whimpy handgun bullet. Maybe 2" of deadener would stop, or slow down, a 22LR, but a decent defensive round like .38 sp or 9mm would need at least 3" - 4", maybe more. 4" of deadener across large areas of your car would add some serious weight. Kevlar would be much lighter and more effective. Probably not much more expensive than 4" of deadener.
