As the title infers, I have done a search both on these forums and through-out the inter-web, and still I'm having trouble finding what I want. So please dont say "do a search"

An amp that is:

class AB or A/B. AS LONG AS IT'S NOT D

will do ~1600 rms x1 @ 1 Ohm OR ~800 rms x 2 @ 2 Ohms

Doesnt cost me more than my monthly mortgage payment

Anyone want to help a guy out?

Power hogs, but MA Audio might have what your looking for. Not sure what your mortgage is but I would go with:

HK802SX or HK1398

What are your intentions with this kind of an amp? Maybe a little more information and some more ideas can come up. hope this helps you get an idea

I want an amp that isnt class D so that i can listen to the radio if i want to. And I want that much power so that i can give my subs what they want.

If i could get some subs and an amp that would use less power and still hit really hard at the lows (like me tsw-2504spl) and still have really good SQ I would gladly do that instead.

someone please sig this LOL

Class D amps work fine with the radio, although with the shoddy radio signals that are normally blasted with as much boost as possible by radio stations makes any decent stereo sound like garbage.

very true...I hate listening to the radio. It's 2 songs that sound like shtt and then like 20 minutes of commercials. Gayyyyyy.

Ok for all you that are confused. I posted quite a while ago about not being able to get a radio signal at all. Either AM or FM. Long story short, I traced it back to being due to my HIFONICS BXI1606D CLASS D AMP. The latest amp I have is also class D and is ALSO interfering with my FM signal.

So then wouldnt that tell me that a CLASS D AMP is going to interfere with my radio signal. Well thats what I think anyway. If I'm wrong, then I'm wrong. But so for I havent been proven wrong about this.

BTW I dont care if you call me names and tell me I'm dumb. I just dont care. Also, I dont listen to the radio a lot. I just like to sometimes to get a break from the cd's and mp3's.
