Basically I have 4 12 inch rockford t1s 800 rms each all 4 are dual 2 then I got 2 12 inch jl w7s 800 rms and 3 ohms

Bacially I know ur not supposed 5o mix different kinds of subs and then what happens with the ohms loads and all that

Bacially want to see anout running all 6 together?/

Your subs will be out of phase. Some notes will probably be extra loud, while others will cancel each other out. It will sound like azz.

Also, when I first read the thread title, I thought you were trying not to nut (***), which seemed weird in the general discussion section, but quite normal for the dome

Just sell the JLs and get 2 more matching subs if you want to run 6 subs.... don't mix subs or impedences, you're trying to do both.

First tip: proof read.

Basically what will happen is the subs that have different ohm loads (impedance) will receive a different amount of power. I'm not about to sit here and try and figure out what combinations you can come up withm but as a generic example:

Sub A is 4 ohms, sub B is 2 ohms. Amp is 1000 watts.

If you are wired in series Sub A would have 2/3 the power and sub B would have 1/3 the power.

If you wired in parallel Sub A would have 1/3 the power and Sub B would have 2/3 the power.

Lol ya was very tired and th phone messed up spelling haha

But thanks and I mean the jls physically are a little rough tho no issues at all mechanically...but after rise each w7 is at anout 3.5 ohms and the t1s I got are dual 2 ohms so if I wired everything to the 4 ohms and then the jls were ag0t 3.5 wouldn't I be able to drop to 1 or. 5 ohmish? And in the same box all 6 still a horrible idea lol

But idk what subs are actually better honestly they seem very comparable in output at least as far as sq well let's say im probably an spl person I don't notice sq as much as others might

The t1s are the black models Im sure I could get a couple of w7s for them somehow idk if its worth it? I like having multiple ssystems also

But last question can a recone be done on a w7 or I literally need only the surrpund and cone itself replaced coils and spiders amd everything are still perfect but the guy I got them from aloud the, move all over the trunk or didn't care or idk but they were stupid
