I was planning out my box build for my Scion tC and the only way to fit my 2 12s was to up fire both subs and port. That was my only option to get the size I needed and keep the back seats. While the box was getting built I started looking around to see if any one has done their placement like this and all I keep seeing was negative reviews. I picked the box up, it was a bit different then others I have seen so I thought it might work. I still had a few days till my subs got here and I got bored, so I started taking the trunk apart. Spare tire out, factory little sub box thing and dropped the box down about 5 inchs.
I got the subs the next day and dropped them in, I was impressed granted I havent ran over 500 watts since I was a teenager.. 12 years ago!
Wel today(3 weeks later) I get bored and get nerves at times without my spare, I decided to put everything back in.
Holl!!!!y shat!! I need to fing somebody in Hampton Roads with a termlab.. I had to get out of the freakin car! My ears felt like they were going to bleed.
All I can say is I have been missing out. I didnt think 5 inchs would make that huge of a difference.
First pic is the box dropped
The second pic is how it was before I got the subs
Now it is like the second pic with subs in it!View attachment 26525007View attachment 26525008
