FAIL... I can be crusing at 40mph~ and smash the throttle in my RX7 and burn the tires off like a mofo... my buddies WS6 was doign about 80MPH and he smashed it and left 50ft+ black marks before letting off the throttle. You don't klnow what you are talking about.

sure both vehicles are light agile and have decent power handeling, But not the eclispe. Most people who drive them will call them slugs. until they are turbo'd they have very little power. too heavy and with around 60% of the vehicle weight on the drive tires... not gonna happen. You gotta realize your rx7 is rear wheel drive. as well as the ws6. just saying. I know what both of those vehicles can do as well.

Rear wheel drive cars have a little easier time trying to burn tires at speed because they are not turning on axis. but when 60% of the vehicles weight is on top of the drive tires its not gonna happen. Not gonna burn anything. Its gonna churp then lock up. I know because I tried it myself. At a dead still if you dump it you have massive tire spin. But at about 15 mph its very difficult to break loose the tires. again I say this because I"VE TRIED IT. I know from personal experience it wont do it!

the car is very sluggish. under-steers like an ish. and doesn't have the top end speed to back up what they claim. overall its a fun drive but not the speed demon that the older gen eclipse can be. With some decent mods to the car the vehicle would be alot better.

I.E- some serious suspension mods, A big power adder, better induction and exhaust, possibly a little bigger bore, port and polish, better electrical system, solid mounts, squat the vehicle about 2 inches lower. and get a little fatter tire under the car, Then and only then would the car be better than what it is.

and no the trac controll on my demo was off. I don't use tc lol @ u

again a rear end drive high torque high hp setup for the weight. a gsxr 1000 has almost a hundred hp and torque. and with the fact it weighs maybe 600 pounds with a person thats at most a 7 pound to hp ratio. on a high torque setup lol. and you could lean hard to the front on a ninja 250 and do a decent little burn at 30 or so just as long as you did it right. on something like that its hard to compare. because of the way the setup is. But I love me some gsxr's. Infact I want an 07 busa thats black and silver. stretched lowered and at least a 330 mm rear end. I'd love to have one with a turbo in it. but that a little overkill. the busa alone for me is more than fast enought. I just want something that will haul me around at 260 pounds that I am. And I not have to upshift 3 gears to get it to pass a car ya know.. Because atlanta traffic is a major fail!
