Make sure whenever you get an email from Paypal asking you to verify your account info, you give them whatever they want, password, bank info, etc.

Agreed... my password is over 15 characters long and different than any of my other passwords. Helps to keep it secured.

yeah my password is over 10. I always used paypal because I knew I was covered. Yeah right. Jacob if you noticed the last few times I've dealt with Sundown I used the secure checkout rather than the usual paypal.

Indeed... I have read some bad stories with Paypal. Of course, I've also read just as many from people with stolen credit card info as well -- the stolen credit card deal happened to a friend of mine and he was only able to recover a portion of the money. They usually side with you, but for card not present transactions it is difficult to prove it wasn't you even to a CC company.

I only leave cash in it for, at most, a few hours -- always transfer it right to the bank.

In both of the attempted charge-backs against me I *was* out the money until I resolved the claim. I won both of them and the money came back to me. It was inconvenient, but it was resolved.

i seriously refuse to sell anything else on ebay. its to easy for someone to screw you over, because paypal are morons and they side with the buyers all the time.

I have not tried to fight it yet. Waiting for the amp to get back. I just know its either gonna be another amp or the guy fried it. The bad thing is if I recieve to bricks in the mail I have to wait for paypal to recover the funds from the buyer. Which we know is probably long gone.

I suggest their newest security feature as well. It is a little electronic gizmo that spits out a 6 digit code that you have to enter after putting in your password. The 6 digit code is a unique rolling code for each device.

well if you wanna have the uber password it should contain at least 2 numbers, 2 upper case, 2 lower case and 2 special characters and then change it every 90 days. hen make it into a phrase like- ILOVEtehcock69!!

the nice thing was, they sent me an email telling me there was an unauthorized 3rd party using it, otherwise, I wouldnt have known till my bank statement came through

I hadnt used the paypal in a year probably, and the bank account it was tied to is what I use for gifts for my wife, so of course it was close to zero, i had like -70 in the acount after that.

I just closed the account,and use my wifes now, its easy to screw someone over if they dont pay attention to it, I learned that the hard way
