I havent heard much about this, need some opinions

I just got a 97 Taurus and I'm looking for a head unit. I have a limited budget, and i also have to buy the adapter for the heating controls etc. I was looking at this one. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-NnuqXBDDZl5/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=300&I=113MP5032

I really like the features on it, for example, the EQ capabilities, motorized face, and three 4v preamp outs. Its on sale now, and it seems awesome for the price. I cant go anymore expensive than that, so it looks like thats my best bet. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks for any help and opinions.

Edit- Im going to stay with Crutchfield because any head unit over $129 gets half off the Taurus adapter, not to mention the customer support.

IMO, and take it for what it is worth, but I would reccommend this unit over that one if not merely for the 2 year warranty.

crutchfield offers it half off, so it would be $35. Besides that, my sister has the pioneer 4800-mp, and im not a big fan of it.

Two warranty on Premier is only if bought from an Authorized dealer, sonic is not one of them nor is any other net sellers.

Right, but thats not the actual Pioneer warranty. Its just what sonic electronix gives you, but they cover next to nothing.

I think im going to buy the Kenwood. I see no reason not to.

seems feature packed for such a entry level price. I say go for it. When I was young, I owned many Kenwood decks and loved them all. First one was a pull out(yes, pull out) tape deck. My favorite Kenwood deck was the one that retracted in and a blank plate covered it. I don't know the model but it was nice.
