That is one of the types of scopes that I have been looking at. I actually wanted the AR just to have one, wanted to add a long gun to my two side arms, probably won't hunt with it, but a new gun range is being built near me with an indoor rifle range, will probably be spending a lot of time there though. Thanks for the input dude.My dad has an eotech holographic sight on his. Ran him close to a grand iirc. It's a much better sight if you are shooting at something that shoots back. I believe the biggest difference is that holographic sights always point to where the bullet is gonna go. Red dot you still have to align with the barrel sight. Also red dots are much easier for someone to spot exactly where your head is at night. Go holographic if you are preparing to defend yourself.
