your right, that is the crime in itself......I work the system too.I show up with my lawyer everytime,he is also small time redneck type so its a match made in heaven he is an active 80 year old guy and knows EVERYONE since he has been working in this shit hole small city since years before I was born.........I did some work for him once and he offered to be my lawyer in exhange.....
We walk past the line of waiters like the parting of the red sea ,he heads right up to the frint and shakes the crooked judges hand and I watch them talk like they are old friends from WW2 or some shit - he does his song and dance about whatever(I cant hear I am 50 feet away) as I see the scummy cop who gave me the ticket and I point to him and say with an eye gesture "told ya id get off" - My lawyer returns with a plee bargain and says, youll have to paya small fee and if I keep my *** clean till the end of the year(about 4 months) there wont be a record of it on my file.......So in essence they made some money and my record wasent flawed by some BS cop who was doing business as usual.......
The system is a mess, not all criminals go to jail and not always is justace served
I am ashamed of when the battes I have lost when I was not guilty and I smirk when I walk away when I was really guilty...cops have quotas on tickets and push the system often to benifit these quotas
if they dont write X amount of tickets a month they actually get in trouble with the bosses
and they are counting on you to pay them and not fight.I am glad I dont get as many as I used to when I first moved to this god forsaken place they call the South, they are really not a cool bunch of people and really like to hassel the innocent while we are rated top 10 highest in crime and murder in the USA -
I think its because a cop was too busy making quota instead of busting some thug with a gun
with bad intentions
