i cant get any power to my amp at all whatsoever. i have tried everything. i have 4 gauge wire and an 80 amp fuse in a fuse holder. the fuse is good and all the wires seem to be hooked up right. i cant get any power from my battery. but i put the ring on the battery and screwed the positive terminal down on the battery and i get power to everything but the amp. whats the problem?? let me know what you think so i can get it all fixed by tomaro. if i did not give enough or the right information let me know.

make sure all connections are tight to the amplifier. Double check your ground and make sure it is attached to the chassis of the car, with no paint on the contact point. also, do you have the remote wire hooked up?

Make sure you have the face of your HU in as well, if its detatchable. The remote wire would be needed if you havent hooked it up.. Also, be sure you have the wires in the correct holes. It is normally like this -

- O-o-O -

Power l Ground

. REM

No offense, but that diagram makes no sense //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif
lol Yeah I dont know how you guys get the diargams looking good... And the spacing didnt stay when I posted it.

How about I verbally explain it... Hole all the way on the left is normally 12v power, small center terminal is remote, and last is the ground. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

see the thing is last week i had it hooked up the exact same and it worked then but now i cant get any power from it. all the connections are tight the fuse is not blown. whats the deal. nothing was changed since last week when it worked and now i cant get any power.

b/c i didnt use that sub, he was loaning it to me for a couple days and then i just got my new subs so i unplugged the positive side from the battery for about a week at the most then i come back and pluged it back up to the battery and now nothing... whats wrong any suggestions?

From what I've read, if your sure the wire is connected to the battery, change the fuse in the power wire for starters. Work your way from the battery back to the amp. Re-check amp fuses, if they're the maxi type it should be an easy check. Re-check the ground. Then take a small piece of speaker wire and connect it into the remote lead of the amp and then touch the other end to the 12v+ on the amp. It outta light up, if not, amp is gone.
