I just finished my subwoofer cabinet, and now I have a new appreciation for you guys who build your own! I have the system on order now, and I'll post the pix soon.

My system will be around 800 watts max (I'm paid minimum wage installing gutter gaurds, so I can't afford much) but it's very nice for it's size.

They are fun to build, especially if you go overboard on bracing. I attached to pre-completion pics of a pair of cabinets I made for my college apartment before I started my sophomore year. Each consists of 1.5 sheets of MDF and was modeled after the plans 142.5L vented EBS from Adire's site except i tuned it to about 16Hz. All the additional internal bracing wasn't needed but I wanted to be able to have them be able to be easily stacked, thrown around, etc and not break apart.
