I have a PROBLEMO

So I was riding today and my sub stopped working. Checked my ground and power and fuse. My amp is not in protect. There was no smoking or smell coming from the port. What could it be?

check fuses in ur amp to? maybe try replacin em anyways to forsure rule that out as not the problem.

you say it's not in protect but is it powering up at all?

if not take a DMM and checkj for current making it to the amp. check your remote wire for current at the amp as well.

Some of the time a sub will not smoke or smell when u blow it, it could also be a broke lead or a number of other problems.

Yes the amp is powering up. The fuses are internal its a cadence zrs-8. I guess next step is to pull the sub out of the box. What will I look for on the sub?

If you have a fuse under the hood, it could be you blew the fuse, has happened in my brother's car twice before we switched it out.

check the sub for a broken tinsel. if possible test the sub on another amp or other audio source for an audible test. or put another speaker in place for the sub to test the amps output w/o having to take the sub out the box.

take the sub out of the box, maybe one of the wires came undone. thats what happened all the time when I had my T2 cause my speaker wire was never long enough and always fell out

DING DING DING that was right. Thank god thats all it was. My speaker wire had just came loose inside the box.
