How do you figure? DC Level 3 15's require 3ft^ per subwoofer. I'm sure 4 or 5 is best but I run my boxes small so I can throw a little more SPL to them when I please. You will need more then 12 cubes thou

I would think the same thing. Even though DC subs like smaller enclosures I would think getting around 3.5+ per driver net(not gross) would yield a better result. You will need more then 12 cubes thou

Are you just wanting to stay between the wheel arches? If not, perhaps building a "step" style enclosure to widen it out at the top to go over the arches would work out better.
I literally have like a MAX of 32" from back seat to hatch haha. So even if I saved 5" from doing the diamong that gives me maybe 6" of space tot he hatc? I guess that works if I make my port only 6" wide or tall.OP with the subs in a diamond shape like that, you figure you wont need to go as deep either. that should give you enough room for your rear port to breathe
Fail, just reread and you only have 30in deep to deal with thats why your angleing them.OP with the subs in a diamond shape like that, you figure you wont need to go as deep either. that should give you enough room for your rear port to breathe
I might go that route, I have 6cft after displacement and port I run 6ft^ NET lol. I'll probably do a step-up design and invert the subwoofers and use 2 8" 17" long aero's and fire them to the side or back not sure yet.Fail, just reread and you only have 30in deep to deal with thats why your angleing them.
You could always invert the subs, itll save ya a little more space
Nevermind I'm going to do a stepup on ONE side of the box and the other i'm porting to the side, going to put the woofers in a slanted diamond. This should gain me about 6-8" of width for the subwoofers and aero ports to have plenty of room. My only problem is height //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif I don't want to go much above window line so I can compete, so I have like a max of 20-22h. Might be hard ot make a very effective step up if its only like 5-6" high lol.I might go that route, I have 6cft after displacement and port I run 6ft^ NET lol. I had mine in a 4.5 cube net. Tuned at 32Hz. That was for a single Level 4 15". No upgrades or anything. They have since changed the recommended box size for them since I had one though.I would think the same thing. What does 10's have to do with anything? If they are XL's or equivalent then I should hope you are. I bought these so I could fit a lot of them I want air movement and hair tricks and flex (even though its bad I love flex.) I'm not doing it for SPL numbers heh. If I were I would have just bought 2 10's or 2 12's.butthurt cause I'm louder than you with 10's?
I'm running level 3's bro not 4's only thing my 3's have that the 4's have are lvl 4 coils, added spider and I think I had a cooling option added not sure. I'm going to attempt 4ft^ per subwoofer so a total of 16ft^ I don't know if I can fit that but I'll try.I had mine in a 4.5 cube net. Tuned at 32Hz. That was for a single Level 4 15".
