but within the admin's help, the mod team can't really do much about the board software. Goob needs to come back and fix it.

i tried posting in the box construction forum a few times. then tried under the sub forum. neither worked.

Unfortunately you're probably SOL (unless you tried creating a new user name just to post the new topic) until the Admin reads the PM that you sent him explaining where you can't post and the exact message it gives you.

well i didnt send a PM. i sent an email to webmaster@caraudio.com. cause thats what the error message told me to do. and that was some time ago. i have recieved no response. and if this mod is MIA like jack says, wtf am i supposed to do?

ok thanx. well i dont understand y i cant post my Q, but i can post this thread. it makes no sense. but anyways my Q is...

I would like to know if there are any other alternatives to carpet or paint. my new 13w7 box i just built today is a really weird shape. no pix, sorry. painting would require ALOT of touchup, so i think thats outta the Q. and carpet might look shitty cause of the boxes shape. any1 got an idea?

Can you describe the shape a little bit?

If you say carpet won't work, then vinyl likely wouldn't either. Perhaps it's possible to 'fix' or help the shape a little bit with some fiberglass work.

well basically, i started with a square enclosure (15" x 15" x12"). but then i decided i want the sub to fire downwards. so i screws to more boards to 2 sides of the enclosure. only now, the 2 new boards are trapazoid shaped (to prevent the enclosure from tiping). so its a square with 2 sides protruding about 6"
