I think i've got him talked down to $160 for both, and would be picking them up.

So, I'm thinking I should hop on this? I know they're no DD's, but my truck doesn't deserve that nice of stuff. Only thing is I already have my L7, and just built a new box for it, and don't really need either of these subs. Just seems too good to pass up, and I could sell off the L5 to a buddy and keep the 15'' L7, then upgrade to the 15 and a bigger amp eventually.

input? I'm not sure what year these l7's are. I know I have the silver cone that's got the ''fingers'' and I think that's the newer model, and these are the early ones? thanks.

no, I'm no audio guru, but I am smart enough to know not to mix and match subs and frequencies. Would keep the 12'' l7 in i've got now for a while, then probably upgrade to the 15''. Or sell it and do something with the L5.

If you plan on upgrading, please be aware that the L7 is an 03 model.

It in no shape or form compares to the 06+ models.

My brother fed 900rms to a 12" and it lasted all but an hr.

Bought an 06, replaced it, and its been going for months.

thanks, not what i wanted to hear but is at the same time. I thought I read about the older ones not being as good. Maybe i'll try to get him lower.
