Although I just got back into doing car audio systems, I really have to say , watt for watt I normally don't hear much of a difference in sound when using different amps. For example, The hardest hitting system I ever did was 4 10" bumber subwoofers decked out in a Buick Centry, and 2 bullet tweeters, being pushed buy 2 pyramid amps, a goose neck EQ, and a pioneer HU. The system was hitting so hard, some body decided they had to steal the **** thing. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
So when choosing an amp, taking some ones advice is good when trying find out if they had any bad experiences with a particular amp, but as far as how good it will sound no one can tell you that but yourself. Always match your amp rms watts to your speekers rms watts to obtain the best SQ.
