I hate mysterious problems....

All started when one day, Was bumpin somewhere, turned truck off, turned truck back on a hour and nothing has been coming out of my subs ever since. Checked every fuse I could find....they were all fine. The amp is showin green lights all around. Checked the subs to see if they popped, there fine too. Checked my signal and remote lead, also fine. Voltage is good too.

check subs with a 9v battery, then swap in another amp if possible. Just because the amp lights up doesn't mean it didn't crap out.

Just put a side of the battery on each of the speaker wires. Positive bat to positive speaker lead, and negative bat to negative speaker lead = in phase and the speaker will move up. Flip the battery where negative goes to positive and the speaker will move in.

yep, just sends it a quick electrical signal to make sure the driver isn't dead. You'll hear a "thump" when it moves...

Do you have any other amp available to hook up temporarily?

yeah dude check your amp inside. my system stopped bumpin a few days ago and I just now opened my amp after I troubleshooted everything else (green light on my jl e1200 still comes on) and sitting there on the side is a blown...mosfet... yeah, 2 of them (in pairs) are blown the crap up...

anyone know how to fix those?

Ill try the 9 volt method and also check the tinsel leads (I have Infinity Perfects, leads are a known design flaw with em). Ill try and open the amp up, im guessin im lookin for any signs of burning.

a thought before you pull the subs out. when my tinsel leads went on my L7, first i would be able to push the sub in when the music was playing, then it'd connect and play because I moved the tinsils. Could try that, it'll take you 10 seconds. Stumped the hell outta me for a while
