My name is Chris and I have a 2009 Ford Flex Se. I installed a set of Kicker Comp Vx 12’s and a set of Rockford’s for the doors. I run two Kicker amps. One for the subs and one for the doors. I’m using the factory head unit. I have a 12 foot power wire to the underside and into the trunk. Recently I blew my power fuse when it rains. I haven’t seen any damage to the coating on the wire so any ideas

So where the wire enters the cabin it is not chaffed or pinched? Has it happened more than once? What is the fuse rating and the amp's combined fuse rating.

DId you use grommets? IS it possible that the water is riding on the outside of the cable into the trunk? Which power fuse and where it is it?
