I have no problem hitting lows in my 08 Civic. Shiva-X2 in 2.3 cubes tuned to 31 on 1000w, smooooth.

Make sure you have your box tuned correctly. Also what sub do you have because if you have a sub with a high free air response (FS) then thats probably alot of your probably because you sub doesnt really do much below that frequency.

try a festiva they peak at 63Hz and 68Hz with a minor peak at 44
