Yea, we ended up getting the Pontiac over the Matrix because it felt sturdier, and thank God we did (they are pretty much identical on the interior).

And the insurance will be fine, because I'm under my dad's company. And we're getting the ticket fixed, so basically, the insurance that I don't pay anyway will likely barely increase at all anyway //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/naughty.gif.94359f346c0f1259df8038d60b41863e.gif

Luckily there were no other cars involved in mine, nor was the sunroof open at the time. I'm really not that bummed. I didn't pay a dime for that car, nor did I really even LIKE it, but it was free and nicer than my truck (though I do like my truck more, that was a much nicer vehicle). It still doesn't even feel real though, because just 27 hours ago I was standing near waist deep in mud shivering because it was like 30 degrees out >_

IDK if any of you have ever been in a crash like that, but whenever we wrecked it was really like being in a dream, just floating and spinning around in almost slow mo, not even realizing that "HOLY SHIT! I'M FLYING THROUGH THE AIR!" until after it's all over, and even now, it just doesn't seem like it REALLY happened. I wasn't even that shook up about it, but it just feels weird because we really both should have died according to everyone that showed up at the scene

Yea dude, I know. Trust me, that is the last time I speed like that on roads I don't know. I've been telling people I'll never speed again, but I know as soon as I get insurance back on my truck again I'll be cruising 65 around curves on my road, but only because I know I can make them. wow man, that's some shit offa final destination ! but as mentions, thank god you both are ok. it could have been worse. i haven't gotten into any major accidents ::knocks onwood:: but afriend of mine did when his rear tire fell off on his blazer, and flipped acouple times, hit a gas line, and ran into a pole. he was a littl ebanged up but overall in good shape.the crazy thing is, we were always together, i was suposed to go with him that day but had something come up so he was alone when he wrecked. so are you guys going to get thesame vehicle or just buy another since that pontiac is ungodly ugly?lol

Man that is almost as bad as mine. Thing is I didnt flip once and my car looked like an accordian. That Vibe is a tuff little car.

I know man, but I was going pretty **** fast around a curve known as "Dead Man's Curve" which I found kind of cliche. Unfortunately, I had no clue it was called that at the time because I never go on that road.

And I do like how tough that Vibe is, but it is kind of ugly, so I dunno. For now I'm just in my Ranger again, but I think the only way I'd get another Vibe is if I put a body kit on it and lowered it a bit because that really helps them as far as looks (and I'd definitely not get that orange color, that was my mom's choice...).

I dont think Vibes look that bad, but agree they look better with body kits on them and lowered.
