I GOT SCAMMED heres a heads up!!!

Well i dont know what happend but some how this company FREEDOM GOLD and distinc-advantage.

Here is what had happend that I know some details. They kept calling me etc i hang up bla bla bla. Finaly there like your bank gave us you for this gas rebate for dealing for so many yrs etc bla bla bla. They have all my bank info. I say ok, there like you will get them in the mail just say its ok to send them. I said yes. I get a few letters in the mail. Says cancel by (date) it got here that date. And said go to site to activate. I never activated it. Well they took 150 out of my account. And I see there gona do another 40 for some other one and a 20 and a 10. I just got laid off I am pinchn my azz as it is this just threw me into the neg of my bank. Any info on how to get this taken care off?

Just wondering if anyone else had a problem like this I am going to go to bank first thing in the morning but I am beyond pissed.

i have an account with commerce bank, and this happened to me except the amount they kept taking out was $700, and the company that kept taking it out was Providian master card company. i cant speak for other banks, but at commerce it takes some time to get the $$$ back...it sux

yeah talk to the bank, something like that happened to me and they cleared it up for me, dont call, actually go in cuz i tried calling and getting it taken care of over the phone but that wasnt happening. When I went in and talked to them face to face they got me right

i am so pissed i just started using a bank again like 3 yrs ago, because before that at m&t they gave some company my same account for there payroll and the guys payroll checks were getting cashed out of my account. Caught this that one weekend was out almost 4k and still nothing.

Honestly I think i am better off over the phone, cause if they cant help me etc. or give me some sht i am rdy to snap. Theres alot of sht going on right now with me in that department between my layoff and unemployment messing up my info and shorting me 2 weeks of pay, and now $280 less than i am to be getting so I am workn on getting that straightend out as well.

one good thing about commerce though is i got them to waive the $35 fee for having a - balance the 3 times this happened to me. btw, what bank u got VOA?

local credit union was for state employe only but now for everyone they just changed over to a normal bank etc

o i c, well did you talk to them bout it yet? i went into my local branch and talked to a finacial person, and they helped me.

I got mail and sht like this all the time that says to get it go to site to activate it etc. I tried to call none workn at that time so i let it slip didnt think i would get charged.
