I got a friggin v6 Fiero.

For those harsh winters you get in OH, thats not in bad shape!
It's plastic. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Car was originally titled in NY, all the carfax shows it between here and there. I agree though, it's remarkably solid for its age.

I dont think the earlier post about putting subs in the "trunk" would work without major surgery.
Meh, just pull the spare. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

As far as subs go, just do a shallow 10" in a sealed .75 cuft sealed fiberglas enclosure in the passenger footwell firing from center console towards the side. It will leave the passenger with just enough room to put legs off to the side. Use a nice metal grill to protect the sub though. Or you can get real fancy and rip out the center console and hack it off after shifter and make a dual 8" enclosure out of fiberglass to replace this portion hacked out. No other options really.

My friends got a 450hp 350 in his with an archie kit. Great cars if you want to put the work into them.
Word. Work being the key word. They need a lot of attention to bring them from show to go. I really want to obtain an 88 GT. They switched from the standard Citation suspension to a specialised suspension in that year and model. Handling was improved immensly.

shallow mount wall! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

The center console runs right between the seats to the engine bay where it dead ends. could glasa an 8"er pod there.

That could work. 4 X 10". 2 behind each seat with about 1.5 cubic feet going above window line. You will give up some leg room, but if you are short it won't matter as those cars have a lot of leg room and seat travel for a 2 seater.

I've always liked those cars, but they are a lot of work.
I say do subs under the hood lol
Won't work.

A. not a lot of volume under bonnet.

B. Firewall will stop most of the frequencies from hitting cabin.

C. it is retarded //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

At the very least, tweak the 6 thats in it. Many parts can be had to up the kick in those 6's.
I've been asking around, just about everybody's sayin' that there isn't much you can do with it and get reasonable bang for the buck.

An improved intake system is a given, since the stupid intake that's there was designed around a turbocharger that never made it into production.

ouch, no love for the fire hazard??
84 only. Cured with a recal for more heat shields already installed in later models. A bad rep that plagued the line. I really wish it hadn't happened. I consider the soltice to be a re-incarnation but without the mid engine layout.

I'm six foot six..

The only thing that fits behind me is the rear glass. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I think Vette, Camaro, and the odd Corvair owner might disagree with you about that.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Edit: Now this reply looks silly!
Corvair is a car I wouldn't mind owning either for unique drag car, but forget handling. Nothing in the world can save its cumbersome *** from misbehaving.

Yep, what I read said it was funky rods would snap and spray oil on the exhaust mani. cured by a) larger oil reserve, b) heatshield and drip guard

No but the beta was SMOKIN! it had the same turbo GNs used.
Boltons, no. But if you remove the engine there is much that can be done. ie, cam, bore, pistons, valves, exhaust. Not easy, which is why I said they were work. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
