i got a big problem please help!!!

Okay I have a big problem with my headunit I hookup the ground and will turn on the amps and then the headunit doesn't turn on. I have a crazy whine when the grounds are touching and I have no idea what is going on. I tried rewiring everything and it still doing the same thing. Please HELP me.

Alternator whine? make sure your grounds are good also make sure down to bare metal . Make sure u don't have wires touchn behind the hu also loose wires.

even does it when the car is on could it have something to do with the battert isolator in the back. Amps turn on when the ground is hooked up with the car off.

everything was working fine and the it stopped when I put the ipod adaptor in. i just redid the wires and same thing. i need to fix this by tonight.
