i feel like im loseing bass

i mean i have a spare battery in my trunk so i was thinkin of upgrading that possibly.. i know it is very depressing i do feel like i am jus getting use to it

whats ure setup consist of.amps, subs, and electrical( battery sizes, and wiring)

well i got 2 12in type rs a alpine pdx 1000.1 amp 2 set of alpine type s 6 1/2 a audiopipe ap1004 on them and 4 gauge wiring i dont know the size of my spare battery

try upgrading from the 4 ga wiring on ure power and grounds. what brand is the spare battery. do you have it wired in with the cars electrical( i would hope so) or is it by itself?

i was thinking that to but it just doesnt seem like thats it cuz i have less rattaling i my car when i put certain songs on and i can listen 2 them higher then i use 2

NOt that it's silly to measure output by the number of rattles you hear or anything... but I've had various instances where I've had rattles and when I had the interior taken apart to put new stuff in it's re-attached a little better and things that used to rattle don't anymore.

Maybe if your front stage was the weak link and it was distorting before it was more painful to your ears at high volume. Now that you have more headroom in that area you can turn everything higher without distorted mids and highs hurting your ears.

Yeah it sucks getting too use to a system,after a couple years of the same setup,even when your friends are still saying THAT SHITS LOUD AS FUKK and youre saying "its alright but it doesnt seem as loud as it used to"

Meanwhile all my mirrors are rattleing like crazy and the sound presure is making waves in my buddies cigerette smoke as it bellows out the car. dudes stand out side the car saying that they can feel the bass on their chest and viberating all their clothes. Nikka's watching me like, "I am going to jack that fool..." HAHA. Never in my town do I do that. of course. time to upgrade soon. better play the lotto...

if it matches up any i seen a dude bass race two 12'' xplodes and he finaled out around a 136........needless to say he had it full tilt and we were still able to hear each other talk in the car without raising our voices:wow:

yup. it is alot louder then that now. I was running the subs at 2 ohms, only 900rms. it was ok then and a buddy thought that was loud... but now I have it at .5 ohms at 1700. and it is how I described above. so, before it was ok then i needed more so I drop the load on the amp and now it is alot louder but I am wanting more once again. I am going to get it metered tmw at the show. I hope I have gained alot more than that last time cuz that was not cool. I had my drunk buddy acting like a dumb *** and I wasnt even going to go trough with it cuz I new it wasnt that loud compared to the other guys. but now I think it might do 140+ maybe. we will see.
