every time i try to demo something goes wrong lol. my system works great for months then some small thing happens when its time to give a demo. one time my amp went into protect when i turned the deck on (never did it again), another time my deck froze, had to restart and all my settings were nuked, ive had fuses blow in the past and so on. tonight my ipod froze on the way to a friend's birthday party so i pluged in my old memery stick. after dinner they all hop in my car and i played thug motivation but it didnt sound nearly as loud as usual. they were all very impressed but i was confused. it wasnt till i was driving home and pluged my ipod back in that i noticed the song on the memery stick must be a lower quality or something and its easily 2x louder on the ipod. now they all think they heard a 150, when they really only heard about a 146.

watch, the one time nothing goes wrong will be the one time i dont have my camera with me.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/furious.gif.fc81ca146dbff91fede3ed290dbc4f4c.gif

anyone else have this crap happen to them?

It always happens like that man...the first time we had a little random "meet" at my high school (which was just a few people with subs pulled around to the back of the building) one of my buddies jumped in my car and cranked my volume (far above what it should have been) really quickly and blew my power fuse...lol, I freaked out because I didn't know what he did...

Happens to me, One time I locked my keys in my car while showing a few friends my setup. Good thing I was only a mile down the road from my house.

Your two lvl4 12's do 150 on music do they? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif
149.4 on music but who's counting //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

I always carry extra fuses, my dmm, wire strippers, crimp tool, phillips, in my truck at all times
i always have a screw driver, fuses and the handy 1/0 guage cutters incase shit starts smoking.

Most of the time its because you try to turn it to "11", and shit goes wrong. Who'da thunk?
not me, i know exactly where my max volume is for all my demo songs. it was a long time ago that a blew a fuse, different setup, very small fuse.
