Send pics to the shipper. The shipper has to file the claim by calling DHL. They will need to submit pics and some documentation of what it costs to either fix if possible or replace the broken item. DHL will lose the first claim, you will call them a month later and they will tell you that you have to resubmit the claim. The shipper will resubmit the claim. You will wait another month and they will tell you they need the pics/pricing info refaxed. That will be refaxed and DHL will sit on their *** for a few months for their claims people to "review" the claim. If you are lucky they will finally cut the shipper a check. They might ask you to have a DHL claims person come by and check out the broken merchandise before they cut a check.how did u go about getting a refund?
I hope all situations aren't as bad as mine was, but thats what I had to go through.
