I get like that sometimes...just because I can't stand dealing with ignorant assholes all day...

I had some guy try to get me to help him today, when I was off the clock, with my jacket on, zipped all the way up, not to see my shirt. I kept walking.

Then, I was in street clothes later, in the shop, some guy comes back there, and complains to me that no one is there and wants me to help him...I'm in ****ing street clothes, I laughed, and turned back around.

At Blockbuster, I really could give a shit-less about whether or not I help someone find a movie. I hate it when people walk in and ask, "What's good out right now?"

I'll check and see if we have a movie that hasn't been put back on the shelf, but I'm not going to be your personal advisor. I don't get paid enough to care.

Agreed. I try to answer all questions though, and generally have no problem working a bit late (then again, I am on comission)

Sometimes it's not completely their fault, it's management's. When I worked at a supermarket, they never made us learn where things were. We had to just learn on our own, which is pretty damm hard to do when you're stuck up front bagging groceries or outside pushing carts. For the first couple months, people would ask me where things were and I'd have to say I don't know.

Althought I understand ill-faded's point as there are a ton of disgruntled grocery shoppers, I still helped the dickheads.
