you ever store your favorite stations in memory for easy access, but your head unit wont let you just store am and fm stations under preset together, you have to switch over to am and have your best am stations separated from your best fm stations, i hate that. they should know that people like to listen to the news once in a while.

besides, if they had them both on the same set of presets, then you could only set half as many into memory. I would have to say that if it was really the popular opinion to have everythin in the same set of presets that someone would have done it...

yeah it is, depends on what head unit you have. dont assume everybody's head unit is as simple to use as yours, i have to press a button to go from fm 1, then press fm 2 then press fm 3 then it goes to the am presets, so YES it is a pain in the ass. everybody who listens to their favorite radio stations goes from one to the next to the next to see if anything good is on, just like when you flip channels on a tv, so, you will be pressing a bunch of buttons instead of just pressing the scan button.

and this is to alpha, i used to have this cassette deck by denon that had soft touch controls very high power and , yes, it had all of the presets am and fm together, you could have 97.1 fm set to the first one, and 1010am on the next then you could have an fm or am station next,,,,,,and no normal person thinks that 10 presets are too many, besides, you dont have to add more presets you just have to add the option to make your presets fm or am..duh

on an old cassette deck... but have you seen any modern head units where the AM and FM presets can be in the same? I haven't, and i am not dissing on you at all, just stating that the popular opinion is to have them seperated.

y in the hell do u want to listen to am anyway. when i turn it on all i can here is robot sounds and stuff. the only use i found is to turn it up real loud and confuse your dog

I listen to AM occassionally. Usually when I'm driving to work in the morning I turn the subs off and listen to sports talk radio....i'm really not in the mood for bumping when its 6 in the morning.
