I can't believe this (i hate people like this)

It will end up being banned, or sky high tickets for stereos everywhere. For all the people that are disrespectful and do this shit through neighborhoods and at 12 at night it will ruin it for the guys who have a passion for it and respect others, as in turning it off in neighborhoods/ red lights..

My post was misunderstood, so I'll try to clarify.I agree that there is a likely chance that a lot of kids and younger adults that are blaring their subs in residential areas probably don't give two shits about respecting others because they were not taught it, but to stereotype everyone like that is just wrong and ignorant, imo.
I 100% agree. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

We should respect others but too many are all about the "me".

The ban is over the top and hurts the people that are respectful as well as those that aren't.

My suggestion is for the people empowered to uphold the laws, police that is, start doing their jobs. Perhaps a "first violation = ticket, second violation = impound" penalty will make the point a bit more strongly than their current penalty.

But the same can be said of the motorcycle with straight pipes or car/truck with extremely loud exhausts, lawn mowers or weed wackers at 7AM on a weekend morning, etc. It is all about respecting those around you.

Here we have a 25ft rule. If it can be heard 25ft outside of the vehicle, you get ticketed. The fines increase with additional tickets. This applies to car stereos and car exhausts. It excludes motorcycle exhausts, which I think is bull shit. We also have a 10pm-8am restriction on noisy yard implements. I wish I could get a hold of the number of complaints pre installation of the law and post to do a comparison. Would be interesting to see the raw data before city officials get their fingers in it and "make up" statistics to support their causes.

Im glad everyone had an input on this when i posted up this article it's on the front page of the newspaper where i live. See i also have the respect to not bump in my neighborhood at night at all or in my neighborhood period because there can still be others sleeping , party's with family etc.... so i understand that perfectly but when they say there trying to ban systems completeley that's not right at all. people around me need to lighten up a lil bit im telling ya there is a county by me even though its a busy street no suburbs or neighborhoods around you can't bump at all they will pull you over and give you at a ticket i got a one for $75 they also tried giving me jail time in court just for a system. I respect car audio itself i enjoy learning the electronics of it the terms and just information over all but there are some stupid people out there that just bump anywhere no respect for anyone and i agree 100% they are giving us a bad name and it just sux:(. but i also help alot of my friends out that respect car audio and also send them to this site to learn alot of good info and companys big 3 etc....so i do have friends that respect it now the people i know that just bump with shit think its the best and do stupid shit when they bump i fckn hate em.
