So my friend calls me this morning to help him do an install. I go to his house evaluate what he has and we make a quick run to the nearest little stereo shop. We pick out a few things, we're checking out when the owner asks me...

"Are you doing the install" I reply "yea, i've got two of them to do today" (i'm leaving shortly to go and work my friends truck) He replies "why don't you do installs for me?" I'm kind of taken back by what he says, just saying this to a kid. I have talked with him before, and he knows that I know more than the average guy you could say.

So we talk for a little while longer, and now i've got a job opportunity building boxes and doing simple installs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif I can't wait to go put in my 2 weeks tonight at target //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

Cliffs: I'm getting my first job at a stereo place doing installs and building boxes.

the installs i've done for my own trucks have been quick and not the good looking, i haven't taken any other pics of installs i've done for my friends, but i'll see if i can take some soon

I'll be putting my box for my 4 12" DP's on hold now seeing that i'll have a good shop to build it in instead of my garage.

I also saw some memphis 4000D's in the corner, wonder if i could get those at wholesale //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:D:D:D

haha well i need that last paycheck so i can hopefully get all my subs together. I'm gonna try and talk him into becoming an IA dealer, the closest one is 3 hours
keep in mind most people who own shops dont like to be told what to do (i.e bring in new brands, etc.) that could possibly only be around here though. and what really pisses them off is if u know more than them..

I have worked @ a car stereo shop as well...and did some very bomb *** installs. The best job you can have, because you are getting paid..to do what you usually do for free..so its like the best of everything. But usually with working @ a stereo shop, the side installs have to STOP!!! If you are starting to work profesionally then all work done by you will have to be done in the shop. I had to tell my friends that when i started working. They dont take to kindly, but they will deal with it.

once i show him those DP's...he'll want to carry them
