It was a rushed build. I used 2" brads and liquid nails to hold it together, and my plunge router with Jasper circle jigs for the holes. 3.09 cubes before displacements, 13" round 4" flared port, and a Dayton Quatro 12" woofer. Here's some pictures, not the prettiest looking box ever, but it sounds amazing. I still need to go back and put a tuft of polyfill behind the woofer to help with back waves. I may carpet eventually too
simple ported box. it was a $$ saver build since I'm low on that sort of thing...
but I like it, especially for a temporary setup. I couldn't be happier with a sub I only paid $60 for brand new (it was on sale for a week and I'm only 45 mins from either PE store where I'm at in Ohio for college). I'm giving it 200w rms at 4 ohms, its rated for 250 rms.
Let me know what you think of it and give me suggestions on how to make it better next time around
