I bought it....part 2 :)

yeah. cleanest sounding amsp ive used yet. noticabley better than my rf 600a4 (which was still an AMAZING amp). I heard the same era old school earthquake amps sounded better than the arts in a direct swap.....but they're not nearly as sexy.

I wish my work schedule wasn't as hectic, ive been riding around the past few days with no front stage at all....just a **** ton of bass on tap. it's been fun listening to sine wave sweeps but i miss my highs.

I got the board cut to allow the wires to pass under the spacer. I also though there would be an issue not being able to screw down the last 2 feet holes on the amp that I had to slide into place under the spacer. With the spacer in place next to one amp with all 4 mounting spots screwed, I could push the other amp into place and just screw down the outter 2 spots. Everything is solid in place without having to screw down the 2nd amps feet hiden under the spacer. I guess I didn't give PPI enough credit since I thought not having those 2 mounting spots screwed down would be an issue. Problem fixed itself.

Instead of wasting money on an rca extension cable to run out the spacer, I found an old wal mart noise filter the the male/female rca ends I needed. I'm not too worried about the signal being attenuated at all, I only need about 100w per side of the 200w per side on tap with it 4ohms bridged. The Filter covers the board cut pretty nicely too. This hole wasn't going to be much of an issue before since it'll be on the back side thats not going to be very visible. Instead of mounting the board/amps flush on top of the sub box, I'm going to bring the board out by a few inches to expose more of the amps top sexiness. I just need to leave enough room to squeeze some groceries between the board's outter lip and the trunk opening. It's a tight squeeze as is, but I'm sure I can make it work.

here's some updated pics with the amps mounted to the board. (black smudge will also be in the back, not visible once mounted.

amps installed. pics tomorrow ish

they look pretty good. the limited space wrked against me but i made it fit to where it looks decent and still allows me to fit stuff into my trunk....barely lol.

so im having dustcap issues, the cone is already scratched up and fugly, and the battery could use a wipe down, and the L brackets could be painted to look less obvious......but hey the arts look sexy and divert attention from that ****

i used two thick and sturdy L brackets on the far sides and a double the width, slightly shorter L bracket in the middle. Plus a few screws behind the amps going through the mounting board into the box. it's in there solid.
