900RMS in the right box will be fine....those L7s along with the L5s are underrated...just watch your gains when you install it. That's what really needs answering....the Diamond D6 and the Kicker 'Baric L7 are very, very different drivers intended for very different applications.

As do we all, friend. But a person having a final goal of overall SQ as opposed to the person after mirror-rattling SPL may be very different.

The DAT D6 and the Kicker L7 are really different subs. Whereas one person might prefer the sound of the D6 (all other factors being equal) and another may cream their shorts over an L7. Personally I find myself in the former crowd rather than the latter.
