ok, i have had a weird noise problem with my sub. i checked everything. i think i found it. i bought a single l7 box from hifisound, well they says it built out of 3/4 MDf. its not. the top from was crached. the sub didnt fit in the box. i discovered the crack in the top from when i tor off the carpet to see well it was made. the top frame is 3/4 MDF to throw you off. theres 2 tiny *** screws in each corner the rest of it is brad nailed together.no to mention it wasnt even sealed.i would of returned it but i had to trim the excess out of it to make the l7 fit. they made it a tiny bit to small. and, there were gaps in the corner.

question: what would you guys recommend to me, im looking for a ported box. im looking for something with decent sound quality and, still be loud. how many cubic feet? tuned to?

ill be building it myself so i know its done right.

2.6 @ 36 HZ has meen my best numbers on this sub so far.

3.25 is way too much imo.
