my 1 SX wangs in a 2.5 cu ft tined to 35 hz running 1200 watts from a viper 1200.1, my 1 12 than beat most people in knows 2 12 or 3 10s or what ever, everybody laughs when i say i have 1 12, but to see their face when they listen is crazy. my sub make my roof flex like a mug

and im getting an XXX this week or next so ill let you know how much better it is

I just installed a re sx 12" dual 2 ohm sub hooked up to a directed 750.1 at one ohm in a 1.8 cu. ft. box tuned to 33 hrz. My god, throw it up by lil john. SHiiiiiiit. I had to get out of the truck after about 20 seconds. I dont know what it is about that sub but i am in love. LOL

That is the good part of this, when you came up happy with your setup.

i wonder how that SX compares to my 12" idMAX as far as SQ and SPL go.

SX will get louder, IDmax sounds better. SX can take more abuse. They are not really in the same class.

Between an IDMAX v2 and SX i would take the SX. For idmax v3 and SX i would take the idmax. But I'm more into SQL than SPL. V3 sounds alot better to me than the v2. I'm not sure why not much was changed.

you should have seen my face when I got my 2 10" dual 1 ohm SX's in a 2.9 cu/ft @ 30hz done with 900w on each one
