obvious differences:

pic 1 vs 2 and 3:

* Power supply caps arragned in different geometric pattern (not same PCB).

* Power transformers: pic 1 shows 3 that appear similar, and 1 that is not similar vs pic 2/3 where all 4 look alike.

* the 4 CT's on the 1st pic have two windings on the primary.

* wiring layout is different.

the amps in pics 1 and 4 look similar. the amps in pics 2 and 3 look similar.

this is only a comparison of the visible power components, and says nothing for the smaller components and such. the amps may be significantly different.

i disagree. it chews up the USACi 301-900 for me and there are other IA competitors that use WAY more than me.

To each his own. Thats your opinion. Like I said, Nick went all out to make this amp stand out. Thats why the price is what it is. I will stick with 40.1's.
