It would’ve been louder ..but they didn’t turn on the meter on my first run ..the car has under drive pullies so the batteries were nearly drained before it took the reading

They let me go again ..i tuned it by ear at low volume on my way to the show 2 hours away to save battery voltage which was a stock battery under the hood and a batcap 2000 in the trunk ..where they started recording the video ..it started at 151.4 I think on my 2nd run ..first run with the meter on ..that’s when I glanced at the radio and saw the freq was off and backed the freq back down and it jumped to 151.9 ...there’s no doubt if my first run had recorded it would’ve been at least a 152.5 ..at the time I did it in 2010 it was the loudest trunk car ever recorded ..and the box is way back in the trunk a true trunk setup ..no port or subs firing into cabin with the seats down ..the box which I still have is barely seen in the video

Putting different dustcaps on a DD-Z doesn't make it a different woofer. A lot of people would be very surprised if they actually looked at the arse end of the subs in a lot of these leader-board builds.
