How do I know what to set the hertz on the amp??

There are few setting that have hz on them, could you be more specific?

what size speakers in waht car. subs or midrange? box setup for subs? what kind of music do you like?

All kicker the 12inch subs are the shallow 4ohm 400watt they go to a jl g-1700 monoblock and the rest is the kicker 350.1 with the kicker 6.8 components in the front and the 6.8 coaxials in the rear... My wife.. That's her car is the 99 mustang 35th anniversary the box for the 12s are in a box you would buy online to fit the trunk of that car.. She listens to mostly aggressive dubstep and whatnot

There is gain bass boost and filter freq on the kicker right on the front all dials... The jl has the se but on side the dial near gain says filter freq (hz)

sorry but the kicker cvt's are pretty ******. Haven't heard a good sounding setup of those yet. i'd probably xover the mids about 60-100 depending on how loud she actually likes to listen to the music. If louder xover a little higher. subs I would probably do about 70

No prob... I personally don't like kicker... But it was all a present from her parents so.. Yea lol probably will change the subs out once she realizes the little amount of bass compared to the 12w7HO in my Jeep lol
