Put it in the bank, still live how I am and earn interest, then invest on some rental properties around college campuses.

Quit my job invest my money and sit at home watching the clock tick.. Ohh it would be nice.. But I would buy a 100k house on atleast 20acres. Pay taxes on the property for the next 50 years in advance. Invest the rest and then I would stare at my clock on my wall and watch time pass me by.

Midwest pricing is decent. 300k would get you a modest home around 2-4k square feet or so.

300k here would buy a 6 bedroom house with 10 acres on the lake here.
