it held up fine... it took a burp at the wrong note with the wrong port configuration to blow it... but properly setup i played music on it full tilt and it handled for a few seconds no problem.

Try giving it about 1500RMS fpr burps - for a $125 sub thats pretty impressive and it would pound on 1200RMS daily.

you need a TCAB tho. w/o the tcab power, it can only handle up to 1500w burps

chris's 12 inch R took 2000+ for exactly 30 seconds....then it bacame a paper weight in my room

its hard to find a cheaper sub that will handle 3000 rms burps thats for sure
