instead of 2 1500bd can i put 2 1000d mtx amps on there they say 1500 watss at 2 oms or how ever u speel that its goin on 2 12in rock power hx2?

any one help befor i spend my money on something that wont work!!!!!

I think you are talking about the Mtx 8100D and it puts out 1000@2ohm and it is a little cheaper than the RF bd1500. But I still think that the bd is the better of the 2 amps. But either amp will push a 12 Pwr hx2 just fine.

id go with the MTX just b/c the other amp is gonna give you more power and you really don't need that much more power, you risk blowing those subs to pieces and beyond if you run 1500watts to them. although you most likely won't be gettin near that much since that's max wattage on the rf amp.

u all ways say ill blow my subs but yet ur the only one i think u just dont know what ur talkin bout cause i have seen alot of power hx2 run off 1500 watt amps and they pump hard so if i ask a question do me a fav dont put ur dumb a** 2 sence in iight thanks bud!!!!!

oh yeah your right i don't know anything about RF subs or amps or anything they make right?? bullshit if i've ever heard it but i'm not here to argue with a moron. simple fact is if you keep the gain all the way down they will be fine, you attempt to be a volume master as audiolife says you'll blow em. personally i've owned a pair of HX2's for 1 week hated them with absolute disgust b/c they are the biggest pieces of crap i've ever listened to. audiobahn's almost have more SQ than those subs man. i was trying to give you a tip but, if your subs don't blow wow good for you, if they do don't come on here asking why or asking people why. the reason being your a **** fool that's why. peace
