Hum noise coming out of sub, Is amp blown?

Got a PG xenon 600.1, when I hook up all the sub does is hum, any ideas, never had this happen to me before

its call engine noise iono whats the cause for it i still hear a little bit in my car sometimes .

Nope thats not it all I get is a hum no bass no nothing, pull my HU out and move it around and I can hear the distortion through the sub

check all connections, grounds on the h/u, amp etc...

Did all that, it seems like the amp wants to work when it feels like it, i have to turn HU off and on until my amp turns on, been around awhile and this have never happen to me

sounds like a faulty connection to me somewhere, perhaps inside the sub box? wire from sub to terminal... idk maybe someone else will chime in...

Had a extra sub laying around and tried that also, same thing hum so its not the sub, I pulled the HU out and the amp turned out and the sub was hitting, strange
