hud lights dim whenever sub slams hard

so whenever theres really loud bass my hud lights go dim. is it neccessary to upgrade my battery?

it's necessary to upgrade your electrical, you might not need new battery, do the Big 3 and see if you still have problems, then get a second battery if dimming persists.

Most likely so, how many watts u running? Maybe check ur ground first...

what is the big 3? i have a 12'' re se dv4 wired to 2 ohm with ap15001d. the amp will put out 950watt max here. but even with amp gain not even half way, if my volume is really loud my lights get dimmed.

edit: nvm figured out the big 3 lol. and im using 4 gauge wire

i was geting dimming, so i got a battery for my trunk and upgraded my grounds under my hood. now im over 13.2+ at 1 ohm

My hud lights dim too, but my RA, TCAS returns, and INS all are still able to be read...just dim

It's because you can't spell. That is why your "Hud lights" dim.
