i can't wait to install this.

thinking of setting it up in my car front firing. sub will sit right behind the folding rear seats. i am considering in porting it with 2 4" aeroports but will have them firing thru the 6.5" openings from the rear deck. i will be sealing off the enclosure from the trunk air space. my trunk lid is quite fragile and can't take the beating of a sub so i am forced to front fire and seal from trunk.

quick question, what enclosure size and port tuning will work well for this sub? i have searched but come up with few results. i read though that the sub somewhat likes smaller enclosures when ported. any recommendations?

i know how you feel. i missed my XXX and BTL when they were sold. now if i ever do sell the 5400 i'd probably feel just as bad. i find it the more expensive the more attached i get to things lol.

i'm already taking measurements lol. will be using sketchup soon.

does anyone know if it is OK to vertical mount the sub? everytime i see the sub mounted it's dropped in. don't know if it's cause the weight or not. i'm sure i'll make a brace for the motor to rest on in the enclosure.
