hu wont go in all the way...

what about cutting the plastic that back there giving more room?

Hello/

Before you do any cutting of that rear panel...see if you could find out what it's covering or what's behind it/;) .Maybe it's just the defroster ducts?.

It's just a guess.I'm not an Installer(Wish I was at Times)..but trying to help you/;) .

Are you sure the Radio harnesses/Maybe atenna cable are not interfering? You don't want to kink the ant. cable.as a sharp bend or too much pressure could break the small conductor inside of it.If that back piece is part of the ac/defrost duct system..."maybe" just try to dremel out a small hole for the harnesses.

I wish I was there so I could help you out,as I really like running the rca's/pow.& grnd/remote/spk. cable/etc.Nice and neat the 1st time...'causes no Issues(In most cases) down the road.Make sure you have cable ties to keep ALL of the cables neat.Take your Time.Patience.Do not rush.It will only make matters worse.

All the Best w/your system.I'm a *much older guy*...but still love the Install part(Simple things I can do myself)...as it is an accomplishment for me.

Kind Regards/

Raymond/

Don't be afraid to ask for help. These guys are toying w/you.EVERYONE started somewhere...

Here is what you do...
Take the radio OUT of the dash kit...Bolt up the dash kit with the cage installed.

Then be a man and SHOVE the radio into the cage...you wont mess anything up, just give it a good push.
I see a trend of really bad advice on this forum.
